AI Operator
Terms of Service
Last updated: October 20, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a software license and service agreement between Absolute AI LLC(“Absolute AI”, “we”, “us”) and the business that creates or uses an AI Operator account (“Customer”, “you”). They govern your access to and use of AI Operator at https://operator.absoluteai.us.
Please read them carefully. They include limits on our liability and how disputes are resolved.
1. This agreement
You accept these Terms when you tick the box agreeing to them while creating an account. If you accept them for a business or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and “you” means that organization. You must be at least 18 years old and use the Service for business purposes.
These Terms apply to accounts created on or after October 20, 2026. If your account was created before October 20, 2026, these Terms apply to you once you accept them, which we will ask you to do through the Service or by email. Until then, they do not change the basis on which you have used the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these Terms.
2. Definitions
- “Service” means AI Operator, including its web application, features, AI features and any updates we provide.
- “Authorized Users” means the people you allow to use your workspace, such as your employees and contractors.
- “Customer Data” means the information you or your Authorized Users enter, upload, import or connect to the Service, including information received from Third-Party Services you connect.
- “Third-Party Services” means products and services that we do not provide, such as Shopify, QuickBooks Online, Plaid, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Stripe, Twilio, EasyPost and Resend.
- “Your Customers” means the people your business deals with, including anyone who books on your booking page or receives a message, reminder or receipt from you through the Service.
- “Output” means content the Service’s AI features generate in response to your questions.
3. Your right to use the Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable right during your subscription to access and use the Service, and to let your Authorized Users do so, for your internal business purposes. The Service is provided online; we do not deliver a copy of the software to you.
All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by Absolute AI.
4. Accounts and authorized users
- You must give accurate information when you create your account and keep it up to date.
- The person who creates the account is its owner. The owner, and anyone the owner makes an administrator, can add and remove Authorized Users and decide what they can access. You are responsible for your Authorized Users’ activity in your workspace and for their compliance with these Terms.
- Each Authorized User must have their own sign-in and keep it confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account’s sign-ins. Tell us promptly at developers@absoluteai.us if you suspect unauthorized access.
- The subscription may limit the number of Authorized Users in a workspace, as shown in the Service.
5. Subscription, trial, AI credits and billing
One subscription
AI Operator is offered as a single subscription that includes every feature of the Service and an allowance of AI usage. The price, billing period, trial length and AI allowances are shown in the Service — on the sign-up page and in the billing settings — before you commit to them.
Free trial
- A new organization starts with a free trial of the length shown when it signs up. The trial includes every feature and a trial allowance of AI credits. No payment method is required during the trial, and each organization has one trial.
- We do not charge you at the end of a trial unless you have subscribed. If the trial ends without a subscription, your workspace is paused: you can still sign in and reach the billing settings to subscribe, but not the rest of the Service. Your Customer Data is kept, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Subscribing and renewal
- Subscriptions are billed through Stripe, Inc. The price and billing period are shown before you subscribe, and payment details are entered on Stripe’s own pages. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge the payment method you provide for each billing period.
- If you subscribe during your trial, the first charge is made no earlier than the end of your trial; the date is shown before you subscribe. If you subscribe after your trial has ended, the first charge is made when you subscribe.
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until it is cancelled.
- The account owner can manage or cancel the subscription in the billing settings, through Stripe’s billing portal. The portal shows when a cancellation takes effect. When the subscription ends, the workspace is paused as described above.
- If a payment fails, Stripe may retry it, and the workspace stays available while it does. If the payment cannot be collected and the subscription becomes unpaid or is cancelled, the workspace is paused until a subscription is active again.
AI credits
- The Service’s AI features use AI credits. Each AI request uses a number of credits based on what it costs us to process with our AI provider. The billing settings show your balance, your usage and what a typical request uses.
- The subscription includes an allowance of AI credits for each billing period, and the trial includes a trial allowance, in the amounts shown in the Service. Unused included credits do not carry over to the next period.
- While you have an active trial or subscription, the account owner can buy additional credits in packs. A pack is a one-time purchase, charged once through Stripe at the price shown before you buy, and its credits are added when Stripe confirms the payment. Purchased credits are used after the included allowance for the period, and they do not expire at the end of a billing period.
- Credits we grant as a courtesy (“promotional credits”) are treated like purchased credits unless we say otherwise when we grant them.
- Credits have no cash value. They cannot be transferred to another organization or exchanged for money, and they end when your organization is deleted.
- A request that fails is not charged. If a request uses more credits than you have left, only the credits you have left are charged.
- When usage limits are active and you have no credits left, the AI features are unavailable until your allowance renews or you buy more credits; the rest of the Service keeps working. We may also limit use that threatens the stability or security of the Service.
Fees, taxes, refunds and price changes
- Fees are stated and charged in U.S. dollars. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase, other than taxes on our income.
- Except where required by law or where we agree otherwise in writing, fees already paid are not refundable.
- If we refund a credit-pack payment in its entirety, the unused credits from that pack are removed from your balance.
- We may change the subscription price, the AI allowances or the price of credit packs. We will give the account owner reasonable advance notice of a price change to an existing subscription, and the change will apply from the next billing period after the notice. A new credit-pack price applies only to purchases made after it takes effect.
Accounts created on earlier plans
If your organization was created under one of our earlier plans, it keeps the access it has until we tell you about moving it to the subscription. Nothing is charged unless you subscribe.
6. Your data
You own your Customer Data
As between you and us, you own your Customer Data. These Terms do not give us ownership of it.
What you allow us to do with it
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display Customer Data only as needed to provide, maintain, secure and support the Service for you, to prevent or address technical, security or fraud problems, and as required by law. This includes sending Customer Data to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy, such as our hosting provider and, when you use the AI assistant, our AI provider. We do not sell Customer Data, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of Customer Data and for how you obtained it.
- Customer Data often includes personal information about other people, such as your customers, vendors and staff. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to provide it to us, and for giving those people any notices and obtaining any consents the law requires.
- Do not upload information the Service is not designed to protect, such as full payment card numbers, full bank account numbers, government identification numbers or health information, except where a field is expressly provided for it.
- The Service is not a backup service. Keep your own copies of records you need.
- The Service helps you keep staff and payroll records and produce paystubs. It does not pay anyone, withhold or file taxes, or make direct deposits; you remain responsible for payroll and employment obligations.
Exporting and deleting
You can export reports and other information the Service makes exportable. To have your account and organization deleted, the account owner can contact us; we handle deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Your customers: booking pages, messages and receipts
You are the sender, and the business
- Emails and texts the Service sends to Your Customers — booking confirmations and reminders, receipts, shipping updates and the messages your team writes — are sent on your behalf and in your name (“your business via AI Operator”). You are responsible for what they say and for having the right to send them.
- You must have the consents the law requires, and honour opt-outs, before you text, WhatsApp or email Your Customers, including under laws on telephone and text messages, commercial email and privacy (for example the U.S. Telephone Consumer Protection Act and CAN-SPAM Act). The Service sends texts only to people recorded as having agreed to them, stops texting anyone who replies STOP, and does not send your team’s messages or text reminders to anyone marked “do not contact”; those safeguards do not replace your obligations.
- Marketing emails and texts (AI Marketing) go only to people recorded as having agreed to that kind of message — marketing email and marketing texts are each their own agreement — and only within the monthly allowance we set for workspaces. Every marketing email carries your business’s postal address and an unsubscribe link, and every marketing text says how to stop; you must keep your business’s address current and must not send marketing to anyone who has not agreed, including by importing or ticking an agreement they did not give.
- Content written by the AI is a draft: you review and approve it before it is used, and you are responsible for it once you do, including that any offer, price or claim in it is true.
- We may delay, limit or refuse messages to protect the Service, deliverability or recipients, or to comply with law or a provider’s rules, and we do not guarantee that any message is delivered. Message and data rates may apply to the people you text.
Booking pages
If you turn on online booking, you publish a page that shows your business name, logo, city, phone and email, the services and prices you choose and your staff’s first names (or the names they go by), and takes bookings for the times you make available. You are responsible for the services you offer, your booking and cancellation policies, honouring the bookings you accept, and your relationship with Your Customers. We are not a party to any appointment, sale or other transaction between you and Your Customers.
Receipts, invoices and records
Receipts and invoices you issue through the Service are your documents. You are responsible for their accuracy and for meeting the tax and legal requirements that apply to them.
API and webhooks
If you create API keys or webhooks, keep the keys confidential and secure the systems that receive your data. Anyone holding one of your keys can use it within the access you gave it, and data we send to an address you set up is under your control from then on. The API has usage limits.
8. Third-party services
The Service can connect to Third-Party Services, including Shopify, QuickBooks Online (by Intuit Inc.), Facebook and Instagram (by Meta Platforms, Inc.) and bank accounts through Plaid Inc.; uses Stripe for payments and Resend to deliver email; and, when you turn them on, uses accounts we operate with EasyPost (carrier tracking) and Twilio (text and WhatsApp messages). When you connect one:
- You authorize us to access and import the information described in our Privacy Policy for that service, using the permissions you grant during the connection.
- Your use of that service is governed by your agreement with its provider, not by these Terms, and you must comply with that agreement.
- A connection to your own account at Shopify, QuickBooks Online or your bank reads information from it. The Service does not write to or change your records there.
- A connection to your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts reads their details, posts and figures, and publishes only a post that a User with permission to publish approved and chose to post, straight away or at a set time. You are responsible for what you post and for following Meta’s terms and policies.
- Carrier tracking and text messages run through our own accounts with EasyPost and Twilio: we send them what each feature needs (tracking numbers and carriers; recipients’ phone numbers and message text), as described in our Privacy Policy.
- We do not control Third-Party Services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security or changes, or for information they provide. A provider may change or stop its service or its access for us, which may affect the connection.
- You can disconnect a Third-Party Service at any time. Information already imported remains in your workspace.
See Shopify’s Terms of Service, Intuit’s Global Privacy Statement, Plaid’s End User Privacy Policy, Meta’s Terms of Service, Stripe’s Privacy Policy, Twilio’s Privacy Notice and EasyPost’s Privacy Policy.
9. AI features and outputs
- The Service includes an AI assistant powered by a third-party AI model, currently provided by Anthropic, PBC. To answer your questions, it sends your question, a summary of your records and the tone and notes you set for it to that provider, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- AI Output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or inconsistent with your records. Review Output before relying on it.
- Output is not accounting, tax, legal, financial, investment or other professional advice. You are responsible for your business decisions and for any action you take based on Output. Consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
- The AI assistant only writes text. It does not change your records, send messages or move money.
- AI teammates (AI Agents) run on a schedule only when you switch them on, within the monthly AI credit limit you set, and use your AI credits when they run. What they suggest — an email to a customer, a marketing draft or a follow-up date — happens only when a User with permission approves it, and that User is responsible for it as if they had written it.
- You may use Output for your internal business purposes. You must not present Output as human-written professional advice.
10. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:
- use the Service in violation of any law or regulation, or to infringe or violate anyone’s rights, including privacy rights;
- upload or import information you do not have the right to use, or that is unlawful, harmful or fraudulent;
- attempt to access accounts, workspaces or data that are not yours, or probe, scan or test the Service’s vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by overloading it, introducing malicious code or circumventing usage limits or security measures;
- copy, modify, create derivative works of, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except where the law expressly allows it;
- resell, sublicense, rent or provide the Service to third parties, or use it to build a competing product;
- access the Service by automated means other than the features we provide, such as the workspace API;
- use the AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive or harmful content, or to attempt to obtain information about other Customers;
- send spam, unsolicited marketing or messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, or use messages, booking pages or receipts to mislead, harass or defraud anyone; or
- publish a booking page for a business you do not run or services you do not offer.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, documentation and trademarks, is owned by Absolute AI and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
If you give us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.
12. Availability, changes and support
- We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not offer a service-level commitment. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates or events outside our control.
- We may change, add or remove features. If we remove a material feature of the subscription while you are subscribed, we will tell you in advance where reasonably possible.
- Some features may be marked as preview, beta or “coming soon”. These are provided as they are, may change or be withdrawn, and may not work as expected.
- Support is available by email at developers@absoluteai.us.
13. Suspension and termination
By you
You can stop using the Service at any time and cancel a paid subscription as described above. To close your account and have your organization deleted, the account owner can contact us.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if you materially breach these Terms and do not cure the breach after notice where it can be cured; if your use poses a security, legal or operational risk to the Service or others; or if the law requires it. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice first and keep the billing settings available so that a suspension can be resolved.
What happens next
When your access ends, your right to use the Service ends. We handle Customer Data after termination as described in our Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue, including those on your data, our intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and disputes, survive termination.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service, including its AI features and Output, is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Absolute AI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and accuracy, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free or that information from Third-Party Services will be accurate.
The Service helps you keep business and financial records, but it does not replace an accountant or other professional, and you remain responsible for your books, tax filings and legal obligations.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Absolute AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, even if it has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Absolute AI’s total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability, and one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these limitations, so they may not all apply to you.
16. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Absolute AI and its members, officers, employees and agents from and against claims, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your Customer Data, your or your Authorized Users’ use of the Service in breach of these Terms or the law, or your use of Third-Party Services.
17. Governing law and disputes
Before bringing a formal claim, please contact us at developers@absoluteai.us and give us 30 days to try to resolve the dispute informally.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the state in which Absolute AI LLC is organized, and the federal laws of the United States that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in that state, and each party consents to their jurisdiction. Either party may seek an injunction in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, tell the account owner through the Service or by email before they take effect. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription before the changes take effect; if you keep using the Service after that, the updated Terms apply.
19. General terms
- Entire agreement. These Terms, including the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any earlier understanding about it.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.
- Severability. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remains in effect and that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Events outside our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- Independent parties. You and we are independent contractors; these Terms do not create a partnership, agency or employment relationship.
- Notices. We may give you notices through the Service or by email to the account owner. You may give us notices at the address below.
- Export and sanctions. You must comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws in using the Service.
20. Contact
